The joke lands before the horror does. A masked figure sits in a small boat, rod bent, holding up a bass like a trophy nobody asked for.
Design Story
The type does the first talking: a clean cream sans-serif reading I'D RATHER BE, then a swollen olive script spelling Fishing across the chest. Below it, a woodcut-style scene in muted greens and bone tones — pine treeline, a low moon, faint stars, a tackle box and a hand-lettered GONE FISHING sign in the reeds. The black robe melts into the shirt itself, so the figure reads as part of the garment rather than printed onto it. It is calm, deadpan and quietly strange, horror iconography relaxed into a lakeside afternoon.

Fit & Wear
The graphic sits large and centred, using the wide chest panel of an oversized cut without crowding the shoulders. Bold lettering carries the design at a distance; the finer linework rewards a closer look. Limited olive-and-cream tones keep the visual weight controlled against black, and the roomy silhouette lets the illustration hang flat and legible. Straightforward streetwear styling: worn loose, layered under an open shirt, or paired with dark denim.
