Design Story

The structure is almost architectural. An orange and cream checkered arch curves behind the figure like a halo, framing the skull and ribcage and pulling the eye straight to the centre. Weathered condensed lettering caps the design above and below — SPOOKY above the arch, SEASON anchoring the base — so the whole graphic reads as a sealed panel rather than a floating image. Small bats and sparks scatter into the surrounding black, breaking the symmetry just enough to keep it alive. The palette stays disciplined: bone white, muted orange, deep black. The distressed texture across the letterforms softens the contrast and gives the piece a printed-poster quality, aged rather than aggressive. Its humour is dry — a grin, a gesture, no theatrics.

Fit & Wear

On a black garment the negative space becomes part of the artwork; the black around the arch reads as depth rather than fabric.
